We are a charity, established over 100 years ago, solely for the purpose of assisting, empowering and providing inclusivity to the Deaf Community of Hull and East Yorkshire. Visual Choir
Hull Visual Choir is a signing adult choir aimed at bringing the Deaf and hearing community together. 

Over 50's
Every Tuesday from 11.30am the Over 50’s meet up. Please note we are now Over 50's not Over 55's

Happy Hands
Happy Hands, is our recently established play group for Deaf parents or Deaf Children.

About Us - Charity Number 220773

On site we provide, a community centre for the Deaf community and their families, we have a sports hall, a fully licensed bar, a chapel, a billiards room, TV lounge and sizable kitchen, all available for the Deaf community to use. We also have staff that can assist you with welfare and communication issues and regular visits from the Sensory team, (the team of social workers who work with people who have a sensory loss), and RAD, Royal Association of the Deaf, who provide regular hearing aid services and battery replacements.

DONATIONS
We kindly accept all donations; cheques can be made payable to Hull & East Yorkshire Centre for the Deaf, or money can be paid directly into the charities account, please contact info@hulldeafcentre.com for account details.

Membership

Membership runs from Jan 1st to April 30th
From May 1st to Aug 31st membership goes up by 50 pence, late payment fee.
Deadline for membership is Aug 31st, no more memberships can be paid from that point until Jan 1st the next year.

16 - 18 - £5
18 or over - £10
Over 55’s - £5 

Visitors welcome
Members and visitors alike are asked to pay £1 entrance fee each time they use the building.
